More than a logo
FUTURETRO [pronounced future-retro] is my creative alias that symbolises a harmonious equilibrium between the future and the past. It represents a balance of dualities, blending futuristic thinking with the charm of retro design, flowing in the infinite now.
Futuretro has provided me with the means to combine the things I cherish in life with my desire to make art. I am passionate about the beauty of nature and projecting positivity through creative expression. I felt that if I could radiate a state of relaxation through what I create, whilst harnessing the energy of nature, my sculptures could enhance lives in a way that encourages mindful appreciation of the moment and improve overall wellbeing.
My intention was to design and make interactive light sculptures that would merge the sacred geometry of nature with the therapeutic properties of coloured light and, thus, create a feeling of total tranquillity. From this was born the Relaxaa range…

The design of each Relaxaa is based on research of the repeating patterns (fractals) found everywhere in nature, that are known to aid relaxation.
